Stress Management 101
Updated: Nov 16
I was enthusiastic to present my slideshow on stress management. We want to also give a special shout out to Dr. Thomas Zino, from Le Moyne College, who joined us today. If you could not attend, we wanted to present you all with some highlights from the learning lab.
We began by introducing the six affective skills which include; being mindful, demonstrating perseverance, managing emotions, being self-motivated, showing resilience, and thinking positively. How do you think you’d apply these skills to your daily life?!
Personally, when I am stressed I enjoy the skill of being mindful and taking some time to focus on my breathing to really make a connection with myself and bring some balance forth. We also took a dive into self management and self awareness. Coach Sgro teaches this ALL THE TIME in his emotional intelligence training! These skills are crucial to set yourself up for success and the key to living a stress free life.
Join us for our next learning lab opportunity here.
