We are thrilled to bring on these awesome students from schools around the country as remote success managers for Winter 2020-2021. Each of them brings a unique perspective and will have a hand in creating some of the magic at Michael Sgro Leadership Coaching.
"My name is Megan Wessely and I am currently a junior at Le Moyne College pursuing my B.S. in Psychology and a minor in dance. I’m not quite sure what my future holds, but I do know that I want a career where I have the opportunity to feel fulfillment through helping others.
My end goal is to open a dance therapy practice for children who have battled cancer and don’t want to spend more time in hospitals regaining their strength. I want to create an environment where each survivor’s physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being are addressed and activated. When I have free time, I like to watch streaming services, dance, journal, go on walks, workout, volunteer, practice mindfulness, and try to live in each moment. My dream is to find a career that benefits myself and others and someday live in Switzerland.
I hope to be able to use my own empathy to succeed as a Success Manager at Michael Sgro Leadership Coaching. I’m motivated, excited, and grateful to meet new people, learn tools to succeed, and work on projects to better myself and others in a positive environment. It is my hope to attain not only useful information, but just some of the life tools that Michael has to offer."
"My name is Katie Weitbrecht! I am a junior at Curry College double majoring in psychology and criminal justice. After graduation I plan to pursue a master’s degree and become a licensed mental health counselor.
I eventually plan to help those who struggle with PTSD from children in the foster care system to war veterans through the use of various therapies such as animal therapy.
I am a resident assistant at my college and have always been passionate about helping other people. I hope to use this opportunity working with Michael Sgro Leadership Coaching to use my skills to help people to better themselves."
"My name is John Duncanson. I am passionate about health and am currently learning about Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania to improve my mental health. Due to personal health challenges that I have faced throughout life, I am motivated to use my experiences to help others. I plan to continue learning throughout my entire life.
From leadership experiences such as being a cross country team captain, I understand that a leader is someone who sets an example through the way they behave. I am very fascinated by psychology and philosophy because I believe that an understanding of these components are important to leadership development. When I came across Michael’s program, I saw an excellent opportunity to learn from someone who displayed virtuous character.
I am extremely excited to work as a success manager to develop myself as a person while helping create a positive impact in the lives of others!"
