What is Empathic Leadership?

“Empathetic leadership is inspiring and persuading through compassion, understanding and positive reinforcement.”

What skills or competencies did you enhance through the coaching process?

“I developed my ability to utilize those behavioral competencies of influence and dominance which were underdeveloped for me previously. Furthermore, I came to value emotional intelligence in my professional life and have worked to develop in various capacities.

Share an example of a goal that you have realized as a result of coaching.

“As a result of my coaching, I have learned how to appropriately convey my value in the workplace. At the same time, I have also gained a deeper understanding of myself so that I'm not holding myself back as much professionally."

What do professionals need to start anticipating as the change needed to be a strong leader?

“Professionals should really start valuing emotional intelligence as well as traditional resume competencies. Skills can be taught very easily. But achieving greater emotional intelligence and changing behavior takes years of work.”
