Pragmatic Alchemy Podcast: Season Two Premiere Episode

We are thrilled to launch Season 2 with this most special guest! Courtney and Mike go way back, all the way back to Fordham University in the Bronx in the late 90s. In this conversation they reflect not only on the ways their paths have continued to intersect and run alongside each other, but also all the ways those early professional experiences have informed the work they do today.
Coach Sgro's work is centered in understandings of empathy and emotional intelligence. He and Courtney discuss the connections between these ideas, kindness, social connection, and self-compassion. There are lots of laughs and opportunity to reminisce, as well!
About our guest: Michael D. Sgro is an educator, minister, coach, and recruiter of super heroes. Mike's mission is to coach extraordinary leaders and develop empathy as a core competency with love, community, excellence, creativity, innovation, and fun. Michael lives, works and participates actively in the historic downtown Syracuse community with his maltipoo, Jonah. He also serves as a member of the board at the LGBTQ City of Syracuse Advisory and the United Way of Central New York.
