A roundtable discussion to brainstorm one or two community best practices that can help assist LGBT business owners, LGBT friendly businesses and the larger community of LGBT people in doing business in Syracuse/CNY. All are welcome including office holders, city/county officials, LGBT business owners, community do-gooders and will be facilitated by Coach Sgro.

Founded and managed by Michael Sgro, CPBC, who owns Michael Sgro Leadership Coaching in Syracuse, New York. Michael is a social entrepreneur looking to create more equity in the business & economic environment.

EQUITY

• We advocate for inclusive business practice across the city and region with agencies, government entities and local chambers,

• We share insights with employers to create a more intentional workforce and increase LGBTQ leadership opportunities,

MENTORSHIP

• We host free and low cost opportunities for business education and leadership development for majority owners or up and coming entrepreneuers,

• We act as "lighthouse" to those potential new residents/businesses to the community or boomerangs looking to come home to Syracuse.

CONNECTIONS

• We collaborate and bring together change makers in the community to partner and create a support network,

• We evangelize all our business members and share their employment opportunities to the greater LGBTQ community.

OUT Syracuse is the LGBT economic program in Greater Syracuse. A social impact program, under the umbrella of Michael Sgro, LLC, it activates an inclusive and equitable business environment; provides training and resources to fuel economic growth; and drives meaningful community connections and impact across greater Syracuse.
