What is Empathic Leadership?
“Leading from the heart instead of simply managing.”
What skills or competencies did you enhance through the coaching process?
“The ability to manage relationships - how to manage them is clearer to me now and I'm able to do this much better.”
Share an example of a goal that you have realized as a result of coaching.
“If you do the work, you can achieve anything you need to conquer when it comes to leadership. I am now able to base decisions anticipating the future instead of reacting to what's going on.”
What do professionals need to start anticipating as the change needed to be a strong leader?
“That they can become confident in knowing when and how to act, and that they can make each member of their team leaders as well.”
Describe Michael Sgro as a professional coach.
“Michael dares to be different and it draws everyone to him. He motivates and influences us all, and does not provide the "same old" consultant type activities that don't result in the permanent culture within an organization that is needed to navigate crisis nor build everyones worth via team values and competencies. He is one of a kind and we are so fortunate to be working with him. There is no one better to coach organization leadership.”
Anything else you want to share about leadership?
“There's no need to flounder - only need to fly!”
Our mission is to coach extraordinary leaders and to develop empathy as a core competency. We work with business owners, nonprofit organizations, professionals, universities and community members who are facing challenges in their personal and professional effectiveness or want to reach their full capacity as a leader.
