What is Empathic Leadership?

Empathy to me is an action word. Empathic Leaders own their conviction to their agency's values to the point of assuring that both they themselves and their employees practice those values in the workplace and apply them to every situation.

What skills or competencies did you enhance through the coaching process?

Being more systematic in my decision making, using data vs feelings to overcome challenges, being more purposeful in developing leadership skills on my management team, learning to hit the "pause" button and work through my emotional reactions to things to achieve the outcomes that I want.”

Share an example of a goal that you have realized as a result of coaching.

I am able to take decisive steps forward based on a more systemic approach to gathering the information I need to make an informed decision."

What do professionals need to start anticipating as the change needed to be a strong leader?

You must learn to manage your emotions especially today because the workforce is filled with unprecedented entitlement.”

Describe Michael Sgro as a professional coach.

He is a knowledgeable and compassionate teacher. He is committed to what he coaches at a cellular level within his own professional and personal life.

Anything else you want to share about leadership? "You will not be the same leader once you take his leadership training. If you are, then you did not fully engage in the process."

We coach extraordinary leaders and develop empathy as a core competency with love, community, excellence, creativity, innovation and fun.
