Jeremy DeChario: Extraordinary Leader

Jeremy DeChario is the General Manager of the Syracuse Cooperative Market. He is an executive with over a decade of food management experience. He has successfully directed all aspects of business operations in a multi-million, multi-unit organization from team leadership to marketing, merchandising, human resources, information technology, and financial management and modelling. Last year, Jeremy and the team opened a second location in Downtown Syracuse.

“Emotional Intelligence! Being aware and acting on my own and my team's emotions.

“I'd like to say work-life balance, but that is still a work in progress. I think there is a lot for me in the gaining more of an idea/sense of self outside of the organization."

“The changing market for employees. Pizza parties aren't a substitute for dignity or respect.”
